Here’s the Scoop on WeatherTRAK Residential
Irrigation Controllers and the Exclusive Rachio Discount.
HydroPoint will discontinue the outdated paging technology that sends daily weather updates to your WeatherTRAK ET Plus irrigation controller, effective June 30, 2018.
For advanced watering control, we suggest upgrading to the Rachio Smart Sprinkler Controller.
Why We’re Retiring Weather Updates on WeatherTRAK ET Plus, Toro Intellisense and Irritrol Smart Dial WeatherTRAK-enabled controllers.
These early model smart irrigation controllers use paging networks to receive site-specific weather data. Since 2004, when we started selling this smart controller to homeowners, communication technology has dramatically changed. Today, it is no longer economically or technologically practical to continue using paging for wireless communication.
But, there’s no need to worry. Your HydroPoint WeatherTRAK ET Plus, Toro Intellisense or Irritrol Smart Dial residential one-way controller will still provide landscape irrigation, just without the daily weather information transmissions and related water savings. As this technology is discontinued, HydroPoint recommends upgrading to the category-leading Rachio Smart Sprinkler Controller. Upgrade today to control watering on mobile devices and set up customized schedules that water with accuracy using the modern watering technology of Rachio.
With the Rachio Smart Sprinkler Controller, you can manage watering and receive notifications on your smartphone.
