Petaluma, CA, November 16, 2023 – HydroPoint, manufacturer of the Baseline smart irrigation solution, has launched two new devices within the SubStation product family: SubStation RV and SubStation CP that allow for wireless scalability for valve control and flow sensing.
SubStation RV (available in A/C and solar) and Substation CP can be used as add-ons to an existing Baseline BaseStation 3200 system for real-time, wireless two-wire connectivity.
They provide networked wireless access for valve control and flow management to even the most remote areas of any site. Both devices expand the BaseStation 3200’s capability and feature set while eliminating the need for excessive and costly trenching.
“Both the SubStation RV and CP are going to make a significant difference for many of the large sites using Baseline systems,” says HydroPoint’s Senior Product Manager, Bob Beers, “Customers will save time and receive all the functionality and value of the SubStation 3200 and SubStation, but now in remote areas that couldn’t be accessed previously.”

Even worse – these controllers were difficult to program according to changes in the weather.
