+ What does WeatherTRAK Mobile allow me to do?

WeatherTRAK Mobile allows manual irrigation for all the accounts, sites and controllers you manage through WeatherTRAK Central.

You can run manual irrigation on a station-by-station basis at the site or remote.

The app also provides easy mobile access to alert information.

Alert summaries can be viewed by an Account, Site or Controller level to monitor alert details and easily troubleshoot issues remotely.

+ How do I download WeatherTRAK Mobile for my iPhone or iPad?

The WeatherTRAK Mobile App is available and supported for Apple iOS and most Android devices.

For Apple Devices, iOS version 5.0 or later.

Search for WeatherTRAK at the Apple Store from your phone.

Or pull up this direct link http://www.weathertrak.com/apple.

Select WeatherTRAK app with this icon.

Select Free under the icon on left.

Select Install App under icon on left.

The WeatherTRAK app will install on your phone and you can tap icon to launch.

You will need to use your WeatherTRAK.net user name and password for the app.

Need a WeatherTRAK.net log-in?

+ When I start the WeatherTRAK Mobile, it asks me for a login and password – what should I use?

You need an existing WeatherTRAK.net user name and login to launch the app.

The WeatherTRAK Mobile app supports the following WeatherTRAK Two-Way Central Controllers:

  • WeatherTRAK ET Pro2 Central
  • WeatherTRAK ET Pro2 X Central
  • WeatherTRAK ET Pro2 Smart Water Manager Central
  • WeatherTRAK LC Central

WeatherTRAK Mobile cannot be used with WeatherTRAK One-Way, Toro, or Irritrol controllers.

+ How do I find my WeatherTRAK.net username and password or set-up a new one?

Email a request to support@hydropoint.com with Forgot Login/Password in the subject line.

In the body of the email, please provide your name, your company’s name and your email address.

Please note that email login and passwords will only be provided to the existing authorized WeatherTRAK.net user(s) and will only be sent to the email address on file for that user.

The information needs to be completed AND the last page signed by the Controller Owner then faxed or emailed back to support@hydropoint.com.

Access requests will be completed within 2 business days.

+ How do I use Manual irrigation?

WeatherTRAK Mobile allows manual irrigation on a station-by-station basis while you’re at the site or remote.

Select the Manual navigation button on the bottom of the screen

Select Accounts

Select the Account / Site where the controller exists

Select the Controller

Select the duration and stations you want to run

Select the Start button

Note: The current status at the top of the page reflects the status of manual irrigation and updates every 5 seconds.

+ Why is Manual Irrigation running slow or unable to connect?

WeatherTRAK Mobile communicates to your controller through the internet. Check your signal strength bars.

WeatherTRAK Mobile typically takes 3 to 5 seconds to turn on manual irrigation. It will also take some time for water to start flowing.

+ How do I view Alerts?

WeatherTRAK Mobile allows you to see all the Alerts for all your Accounts, Sites and Controllers.

Select the Alerts navigation button on the bottom of the screen

Select Total Alerts

Select the Account / Site where the controller exists

Select the Controller

Select the Alert you want to view

Note: Alerts are updated every time you select the Alerts navigation button on the bottom of the screen

+How do I change the name of my Controller or Site?

Controller:  You can do this from www.WeatherTRAK.net on the controller’s Manage Page.

Site or Account: Send an email to support@hydropoint.com. These will be handled by our Customer Service Team and you will receive an email confirmation.

+ I keep receiving the message “Unable to connect to WeatherTRAK.” What should I do?

Your phone will display this message if there is not access to the internet or if the WeatherTRAK.net system is down for maintenance.

Please check to make sure you can access the internet in that specific location.

If you have questions on your internet connectivity or cellular coverage, contact your cellular phone carrier directly.

Once you confirm internet connectivity, select the green Sign In button and login.

+ How do I re-start the WeatherTRAK Mobile App on an Android?

To re-start WeatherTRAK Mobile on an Android device:

Start the Setting APP

Select Applications

Select Manage applications

Select the Running tab at top

Select the WeatherTRAK APP

Select Stop or Force Stop

Select the Home button.

Select the WeatherTRAK Mobile APP to start it again

+ What if I don't have an iPhone or Android device?

WeatherTRAK Mobile is currently available for Apple and Android devices only.

If you have a Blackberry, Windows phone or other mobile device, you can connect to www.weathertrak.net using your phone’s browser and log-in to your account.

You can set up Alert notifications to send email or text messages direct to your phone from www.weathertrak.net.
