Instructional Designer Consultant
Description:
We currently have an instructional designer consulting opportunity and are looking for assistance creating an online training course teaching landscape professionals and customers how to program and use our smart irrigation controller. The training will be central to a certification program and will combine video and text to educate and quiz participants on the material. This is a short-term assignment with the potential for additional instructional design projects going forward.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The technical content has been created and we need assistance in the following:
- Determine the optimum delivery tool that will allow us to quickly create a course that is easily modified as the content changes and grows and/or contains reusable content
- Select the optimal course layout and flow based on the tool to be used
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required/preferred:
- Superior instruction design experience creating within time and budget constraints
- Experience developing CBT and other on-line training materials, particularly with hardware or other technical equipment
- Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products
- Adobe Captivate
- Adobe Presenter
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience working with subject matter expects, particularly engineers and other technical personnel in a small, fast-paced organization
Account Manager
Location: Orange County or San Diego County, California
Description:
The Account Executive will be responsible for meeting a sales quota, managing the distribution channel and driving customer success in the marketplace. The ideal candidate is an experienced solution sales professional who is smart, passionate, creative, trustworthy and a consummate team player.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve or exceed quarterly sales targets
- Research, build and develop territory
- Follow up on sales leads and manage sales process through closing
- Grow pipeline via cold calling, direct marketing campaigns and leveraged use of partner relationships
- Effectively manage the sales process through the distribution channel
- Partner with field product specialists to develop account and market strategies
- Provide accurate forecasts of business to be closed
- Negotiate contracts as needed
- Close business and increase market momentum
- Focus on customer success and building a sustainable long-term business
- Be a problem solver
